Abbey College Birmingham Appoints Second Vice Principal…
Abbey College Birmingham consolidates its senior management team with the appointment of new Vice Principal Operations and Development, Shahzad Hussain. Shahzad, in his new position, will develop the college’s role within the wider community.
Currently Head of Upper Sixth and also Head of the Business Studies Department at Abbey College Birmingham, Shahzad will now concentrate his efforts on creating effective links with the business community in Birmingham, with a particular emphasis on workplace-awareness and sourcing early career opportunities for students.
The new Vice Principal will take up his new role in August, in readiness for the new academic year.
Shahzad said: “I am delighted to be appointed as the new Vice Principal Operations and Development and am looking forward to working with the businesses in the area to create opportunities for our students. We will look to place the talented young students of Abbey College Birmingham with firms that will realise their potential and prospects for developing and growing their businesses. In turn, this will enhance the professional and commercial future of Birmingham.”
