BEEAs ‘Consultancy of the Year’ shortlisting to open Scandinavian market for ByteSnap Design…

Submitted by on August 27, 2014 – 7:00 am |

Dunstan Power, Director of ByteSnap Design.Birmingham, UK, 26 August, 2014. ByteSnap Design Ltd, a specialist in embedded systems design and development, is defending its ‘Consultancy of the Year’ title at this year’s British Engineering Excellence Awards.

2014’s shortlisting for the award is ByteSnap’s fourth in a row and Dunstan Power, Director of ByteSnap Design, hopes that seeing off fierce competition from other UK entrants to win this category again will help boost its profile at the upcoming E-14 event, the largest electronics fair in Denmark (2-4 September, Odense).

30 per cent of the design consultancy’s existing customers are based outside the UK – in Germany, Belgium, the USA and Denmark – but ByteSnap Design will be attending next month’s E-14 fair with the aim of using its BEEAs award win to promote business and expand its client base across Scandinavia and further afield.

Power said: “Much of our business is from the UK, typically through referrals, but we also have a growing international client base. Winning the BEEAs ‘Consultancy of the Year’ award for the second year in a row will highlight the quality of our engineering skills and help us to promote British engineering at the fair in Denmark.”

ByteSnap Design has seenenquiries rise from European companies and believes Denmark to be the start of a growing client base as more Scandinavian customers bring their embedded design projects to the UK. Power sees ByteSnap’s experience in smart energy (the technology behind smart meters) alongside its mobile apps business as being particularly attractive to overseas customers.

Visitors to E-14 can meet the ByteSnap design team on stand C-4203 or, for more information, contact Dunstan Power on , email or visit www.bytesnap.co.uk.
