AlphaTALK logoalphaTALK, a leading UK VOIP provider for SME and corporate businesses, are launching a new, business start-up grant project today. The scheme will be operating initially in the West Midlands area with a view to rolling it out nationwide next year. The new business grant objective is to inspire business innovation, creativity and leadership within the IT & Telecoms industry.

The alphaTALK new business grant for 2015 will be awarded to the entrepreneur, with the most outstanding business idea. Therefore, alphaTALK are looking for entrepreneurial applications for a commercially viable idea that has a scalable business model.  Preference will be given to ideas that are unique and do not just offer another similar service to the rest of the competition.

The business start-up grant is comprised of a package worth £20,000 of business support and investment, giving the winning business venture a springboard to get off to a flying start.

Zafar Majid, director of alphaTALK observed about the business start-up Grant; “This innovation scheme is a demonstration of alphatalk’s commitment towards encouraging and developing new talent. This is the age of the entrepreneur and we want to recognise that.”

Closing date for submitting applications for the new Innovation Grant will be on 28th January 2015. A shortlist of 25 applications will be decided in March 2015 out of which, during May 2015, 5 finalists will be invited to pitch their business ideas to a panel of business experts. We will announce the winner in May 2015, the fortunate entrepreneur will win the grant for new business worth £20,000.

alphaTALK, developers of their state of the art VOIP software, are continuously committed to innovation and growth within the IT & Telecoms market. Their innovation Grant will assist the winning entrepreneur with both business and leadership development.

It is anticipated that in managing new talent coming into the industry, alphaTALK’s high standards for products and services will be passed down to future business generations.

Zafar Majid, Director of alphaTALK Quoted “We believe there is a lot of new IT Talent which needs to be brought to the forefront with such investment schemes.”
