The WPG-360 Wireless Presentation Gateway

It allows a large amount of storage space and super fast transfer speeds which are extremely useful if you use HD files, RAW files or general creative media work. The device has a USB 3.0 compatible connection that can transfer a 5GB file in under a minute – compared to the 2.5 minutes it would take a 2.0 connection to transfer. The 1.5TB GoFlex ultra-portable drives are compatible with both Windows operating systems and Mac computers. All in all, a great piece of kit!

Laptops and net-books are getting increasingly smaller and although track-pads are commonplace, it’s still always nice to have a mouse to use rather than the clunky maneuvering brought about by track-pads. However using a mouse requires a hard surface and amount of space that is not always available. Enter Swiftpoint Ltd and this problem is no more. The company have just released their Swiftpoint mouse; the device is a tiny portable mouse that fits under your thumb allowing you to utilise all of its key features and sit back with your laptop and steer your computer just by using your thumb! The New Year is here and along with it the group of smokers with a resolution to fulfill, so we thought it was only fair that we talk about the new electronic way to quit smoking; Nicorette’s ActiveStop anti-cigarette iPhone app. It’s a free app containing five features aimed to help smokers give up including target setting, a wish list, distractions, achievement setting and information. The wish list is particularly interesting as it allows the user to calculate the money saved on cigarettes and provide a list of items for you to treat yourself with.
