PKF Cooper Parry recognised in The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for 2016…
PKF Cooper Parry has scored another success after becoming the only accountancy firm to be named in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for 2016.
The firm, which now employs 350 staff across its two regional offices in Birmingham and at East Midlands Airport, has the highest number of employees of all 100 companies named in the list.
Every year The Sunday Times assess the quality and popularity of workplaces in the UK. Now in its 16th edition, the ‘Best Companies To Work For’ ranking celebrates the cream of Britain’s employers across four different categories: The 100 Best Companies, the 25 Best Big Companies, the Best 100 Best Small Companies and 100 Best Not-for Profit Organisations.
Places in the rankings are determined by the results of a staff survey. As well as pay, benefits and work-life balance, the survey covers topics such as whether employees believe they can make a valuable contribution to their firm’s success, how proud they are to work for their company and whether they think their organisation gives something back to their local community.
PKF Cooper Parry prides itself on its unique culture and philosophy and its ability to continually develop move and refine in order to align with its vision, market and aspirations. Over the past decade it has developed an iconic brand, which is colourful, creative and innovative.
Its award-winning 25,000 ft2 headquarters office at East Midlands Airport exudes vibe and energy and reflects the creativity and innovation of the whole firm – something which it is currently replicating in the West Midlands.
Commenting on taking their place in this year’s Sunday Times rankings, PKF Cooper Parry CEO Ade Cheatham said:
“We are thrilled to have been singled out for our outstanding employee benefits and office atmosphere.
“We work around an ethos of making sure each and every team member feels fulfilled, inspired and motivated at all times – which has shone through in these accreditations.”
A total of 241,361 employees from 925 firms completed questionnaires for this year’s Sunday Times lists, making it widely acknowledged as the most extensive research into employee engagement in the country.
